ABOUT SALLIE

Sallie Guillory is a pastor, speaker, and executive leader passionate about helping churches build healthy cultures, develop strong leaders, and create environments where people can encounter Jesus.

Her leadership journey began in education and athletics, serving as a high school teacher and basketball coach before coaching Division I women's basketball at McNeese State University and the University of Louisiana. During that season, God began stirring a call to ministry that ultimately led her to leave coaching and step into full-time church leadership.

Over the last decade, Sallie has served in a variety of leadership roles in growing and influential churches, including Our Savior's Church in Louisiana and Times Square Church in New York City. Along the way, she has led teams in communications, creative strategy, worship, production, communications, leadership development, and organizational culture.

Today, Sallie serves as Executive Pastor at Saddleback Church, one of the largest and most influential churches in the world, with 19 campuses across Southern California and around the globe. She oversees multiple ministry areas, leads large staff teams, and helps guide the church through a season of vision, growth, and leadership transition.

Known for her practical wisdom, authentic leadership style, and deep love for the local church, Sallie speaks on topics such as leadership development, organizational health, church culture, spiritual formation, women in leadership, navigating change, and building teams that thrive. Whether speaking to pastors, church staff, volunteers, or emerging leaders, her passion is to equip people to lead with both conviction and compassion while staying rooted in the presence and purposes of God.

When she's not serving at church, you'll likely find her reading a great book, cooking Cajun food, hiking Southern California trails, playing tennis, or enjoying an Americano at a local coffee shop.
